Feb 15, 2016 · Hey all, I have an M22 trans with the lazy 2.20 first gear plus a 4.10 12 bolt rear. Anyone know of a good strong 5 speed trans that i can get to replace the muncie? The motor is a 496 BB stroker 575hp.

Aug 30, 2021 · I have a 68 Camaro with the original L48 (engine pad # matching Protect o Plate number), mated with a transmission that I was told is a Muncie M22. The transmission also has the right VIN stamped on it and the # matching the Protect O Plate so I know is the original that came with the car. The transmission whines line an M22 and is close ratio.
